So I've decided that if I ever have the money to waste, I will build the following army:
Hero:
Night Goblin Big Boss - 30pts

The entire purpose of this army would be to see the look on my opponent's face when I literally fill my deployment zone with models. 657 of them, by my count.
Also, if I didn't want to basically lose to a single failed panic check that routs my entire army, assuming the worst since if one unit panics there's a very good chance the rest of them will, I could drop... uhm.... a ton of gobbos for six Spear Chuckas and two Doom Divers, which would put me down to "only" about 500 models. Hopefully these artillery pieces would soften my enemy up by the time they face the withering hail of shortbow fire from my proud and noble (snicker) Gobbos.
I could also divide the units into groups of 20 to attempt to maximize Shortbow fire, but really, they'll just get in each other's way.
I don't have the money to do this now, but I'm seriously contemplating it for shits and giggles, especially because I expect that, as I have no Shamans, magic will annihilate my army.
It might not even be as bad as I might've thought since, if I'm not mistaken, Fear has been severely nerfed, models can fire in two ranks, and you always wound on a 6 regardless of toughness now? I don't know, I don't have the new rulebook. Hell, my O&G Book might even be outdated and therefore my point costs incorrect.

Yeah, I can barely be arsed to paint the models I own, to be honest.
If this army were to happen, I'd spray paint them all black and literally splatter green paint on their faces and dip the tips of their arrows in silver paint. Won't be winning any painting competitions, that's for sure.

i've seen that many goblins on the table before. it is quite a sight.
there is a new o&g book slated for this coming winter. wonder what the points will be on gobbos then

Can something be too venerable?? I was really looking forward to this model, and I am kinda dissapointed. It looks like he was attacked by a knick-knack store. And honestly, does a mechanized coffin with a mostly dead guy inside need a loin cloth?

The army is nice, but I'd combine them to make bigger units, take a Warboss and a BSB, and maybe a fanatic in a few units. You'd probably be able to field 500 still.
