4 games, 26 slots for the event.

Tournament Rules:

-Armies must be fully glued and put together, no proxy’s.
-Have a list for the judge (you may email it) and at least five copies
more for you and your opponent.
-You may bring two different army lists if you are using the same
faction. You may also bring one Hordes army and one Warmachine army
Instead of using one faction with two different lists. However, that
means you use either faction/army with only one list from each, making
two total lists.
-Bring all the items need to play, core rule books, templates, dice,
P3 paint, paint brushes, glue, card covers and models. The store is
not responsible for providing these items. If they have any of these
items available you may purchase them.
-To quote an FAQ, you must bring a copy of it. Otherwise, you may not quote it.
-The points level is 35pts and you may not go over the points limit.
-There are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, Best Painted, Iron Man(
Highest Points earner with using one list in the entire event),
Assassins Creed (Fastest Caster Kill), and the Gunny’s award (players
vote on best tacticians they played against). Mercenaries may take 1st
place.
-Becasue the store is new to the game as well as some of the gamers, we will be running 12 minute turns, with a once a game 5 minute extension.
-We will give ten minute breaks between rounds and a one hour lunch break.

Painting Rules:
Though painting is not required we are scoring it separately from the overall score and will only be used for the Best Painted Award:
0 points: less than half the army is painted.
1 points: Half the army is full painted with flocking.
2 points: The army is fully painted with flocking.

+1 Bonus point: Excellent use of highlighting techniques on the model.
+1 Bonus point: Above average flocking techniques, not just static
grass and gravel. IE skulls, causalities, wrecked Warjacks, stone
fences and broken bunkers.
+1 Bonus point: Display board, pizza boxes don’t count!
+1 Bonus Point: At least one model has a dynamic pose that you created by conversion, sculpting, etc. I.E. a Berserker leaping of a Rock, the legs were made to give it a “springing” effect.
+1 Bonus Point: Army uniformity, every model in the army, from the base to the colors on their uniforms, insignia, weapons, fur and skin, are the same likeness. I.E. If the army has a winter themed effect, they all should be that way. One model can’t be in a desert theme.

The bonus points only apply if your army is fully painted. In case of
a tie, the judges will vote and choose the best painted army.

The game results are the following:

13 points Win
10 points Tie
8 points Loss

Bonus points will be given in each scenario that will be put online
before the event takes place.

Fellas,

Battle points by wins and loses will be the only determining factor in placement. However to encourage painting, since I feel that its something that should be rewarded, there will be a checklist system to guauge each army and select the best one for the Best Painted prize. Again, those points will be graded individually, and will not be applied to your final score.

The prizes will be store credit for each award, so you can buy what
you like from the racks, a sword for the overall winner(which I will
purchase, and I will put up a link with a picture of it) and other
cool stuff that I can come up with.
Also, the store is giving a splash sale on all PP items purchased by
TOURNAMENT players only for that one day. The main requirement is
that you pay for a slot. All of the money collected from entry fees
will make up the store credit. IE if 26 guys show, that means there
will be $260.00 in the pot, and there is 6 prizes in total. More
people obviously means better prizes. Not too shabby for $10.00.

Vegetarians should eat bacon though. Not because I'm trying to force them to give up their pointless struggle against the true omnivorous way, but because bacon is made of win and awesome. -TOF-

Also, Press Ganger Greg Zuniga will be running a painting and modeling station at the event.  It’s free, and he is a skilled painter that has entered various painting competitions and has placed within the top three at each event.  So if you are struggling with a particular aspect of your color scheme, or looking for tips, come on by and see Greg!

The scoring has been revised to the standard version used in the SR2010 (revised) packet.  1Point for a win, 0 for a loss or draw.
