I was told that the first inch of a hill is considered rough terrain and slows you down a bit, but I could not find any rule in the book to support this. Is it true?
-Thanks

Never heard that, though somehow hills kill Fanatics.

According to the rulebook: Difficult terrain includes the following: steep or treacherous slopes (this can include particular hills if both players agree before the game, otherwise hills are considered to be open terrain). There ya go. EDIT: o yeah, page 16 if you want to bitchslap your opponent with the rulebook.

Hills DO kill fanatics, as they are killed by ANY terrain feature.

Then they die instantly when released because "open" terrain is a feature.

No, it's a terrain feature called Open Ground. Jerk-face.

Don't know, the open terrain could only apply to difficult terrain rules...

Instead of "open" terrain, just call it "featureless" terrain and suddenly there's no more ambiguity. Anyway, I don't think anybody will try for such an extreme interpretation of the rules that puts you in a totally unfair situation.

We've just been playing that any hill will kill a Fanatic. I would like to argue that only difficult terrain hills kill Fanatics, but they can easily counter that "open ground" kills fanatics, and I don't want to punch anyone during a Warhammer game.

You're just bitter and not seeing clearly. A hills terrain. "open terrain" is open ground, or the lack of terrain. Live with it, goblins get enough good stuff.

Can something be too venerable?? I was really looking forward to this model, and I am kinda dissapointed. It looks like he was attacked by a knick-knack store. And honestly, does a mechanized coffin with a mostly dead guy inside need a loin cloth?
