Earth Craft is pretty cool (tap a creature to untap a land), and Dark Ritual is great for getting a quick burst of speed.

Powerwise it would have to be ancestrall recall followed shortly by time walk.
Combowise I loved the power of Squandered Resources and Cadaverous Bloom.

Earthcraft is a great card
Dream Halls is excellent
Skull Clamp is an amazing card, easily ranking high among rares, despite being an uncommon
Time Walk - an extra turn for 2 mana

Earthcraft and squirrel nest it awesome
then add a natuko husk or a phyrexian ghoul
you can make infinate squirrel tokens and then sacrifice them infinitely to hurk or the ghoul, creating an infinately large creature. And all these cards are 3 mana and under, and with green helping you, it's an easy 3 turn combo. Then you can add a symbiotic worm and birds of paradise and pattern or rebirth and Llanowar elves, and suddenyl you've got a great deck.
Unfortunately Earthcraft is banned in Extended

Blinking spirit? I think its one of the most usefull cards in any control deck. Just to get the earlier strong creatures off your back.

I like "Swords too plowshards" espacially because it's a white killing card, so it's great in pure white decks and onlu 1W mana.
